African Cultural Festival in Malmö Sweden

On June the 29'th and 30'th 2005 the Swedish City Malmö held a 2 day African festival in Folkets Park In Central Malmö. It was 2 days of African culture with courses in hair braiding, exhibition of African art and textiles, dance and face painting.

The music was both traditional African music as well as African reggae and was among others provided by Uban zoo, Wakilo, Allone Kasse and Nana Osibis. Including a fashion show with clothes by Ida Wik and Jewelry by Joelle Golmann with African design inspirations. Click photos to enlarge
